FEATURES & APPLICATIONS
XYlink 311 is a thermosensitive delay-reactive diamine hardener. It is suitable for most casting polyurethane systems based on TDI or MDI and polyether or polyester polyols. It is similar to Caytur®31 DA of former Chemtura. It consists of a complex of aromatic diamine with symmetrical molecular structure and sodium chloride dispersed in a plasticizer. It is virtually non-reactive at room temperature. However, when heated to 120℃ (or 70~80℃ with catalyst), the salt complex dissociates and the freed aromatic diamine rapidly reacts with the NCO-prepolymer to form a tough elastomer. As a liquid state with reasonable viscosity, XYlink 311 could be mixed with prepolymers at room temperature, and it is suitable for use with conventional processing techniques, such as open casting, compression molding or liquid injection molding and rotational casting as well as other techniques such as dipping that require one pot systems. In addition, it is suitable for complex shaped or large areas articles, microwave curing or other situations which need longer processing time. The XYlink311 cured polyurethane elastomer has similar properties to MOCA cured elastomer.
XYlink 311 can be applied with hand mixing or automatic mixing of casting equipment for producing polyurethane elastomers. XYlink311 is also used as a thermoreactive curing agent for epoxy resins. Mix thoroughly before use.

20kg net weight in plastic drum or galvanized iron drum.

STORAGE
This product should be stored in a dry and ventilated place at room temperature. Keep it away from moisture and sunlight. Make sure the remanent products well sealed after using.
Shelf life of this product is 1 year. If stored over shelf life, it can still be used when it could be stirred evenly and the main application properties be qualified by inspecting.
